This Privacy Policy explains how Dor Livuy LeMehandesim (“we”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use ChipPrep (“the Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

  • Account information — your email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider, Supabase).
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Paddle (merchant of record). We do not receive or store your full card details. We receive only a purchase confirmation and limited information necessary to grant you access.
  • Content you submit — answers you type for AI grading, and any CV/résumé you upload for analysis.

Automatically collected:

  • Usage data — questions viewed and completed, used to power your progress tracking.
  • Technical data — browser type and general device information, collected to operate and secure the Service.

2.How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and operate the Service.
  • Process payments and grant or revoke access to paid features.
  • Respond to your support requests.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
  • Improve and develop new features.

3.Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers. Each handles data under its own privacy practices.

PaddlePayment processing and merchant of record.
SupabaseDatabase storage and user authentication.
VercelApplication hosting and deployment.
AnthropicAI processing for answer grading. Content you submit (answers) may be sent to Anthropic's API to generate feedback. Anthropic processes this data under its own policies.

4.Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to operate core features of the Service. We do not use cookies to sell your data or to track you across third-party websites.

5.Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your data within a reasonable period. We may retain certain records (such as transaction records) as required for accounting or legal obligations.

6.Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw consent or object to certain processing.

We are based in Israel. Our service providers may process data in other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence, in locations that may have different data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top and notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
